The Daktaris are the authors of an extremely good Afrobeat album, Soul Explosion. This was way before the recent revival of this musical genre co-created by Fela Anikulapo Kuti and Tony Allen as the record hit the streets in 1998.

Musicawa Silt is one of the key tracks of this fine album. It is also featured in Black Man’s Cry: The Inspiration Of Fela Kuti, a fine compilation released by Stone Throw Records in January 2010.
